Our orthotics are custom made for each patient using a 3D scanner. We also perform biomechanical assessments and gait analysis for each orthotic patient. A custom functional leather orthotic is meant to be adjusted periodically in accordance with the podiatric impression made to the orthotic once it has been worn. These adjustments are aimed at slowly repositioning the foot into its anatomically correct neutral stance, and potentially reversing any forefoot/lesser toe pathologies (including bunions) that may have developed over time.
